Grain Farmers of Ontario welcomes Minister Rob Flack to agriculture portfolio; thanks Minister Lisa Thompson

Guelph, ON – June 7, 2024 – Grain Farmers of Ontario, the province’s largest commodity organization representing Ontario’s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean, and wheat farmers, congratulates Rob Flack, Member of Provincial Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex–London, on his well-deserved appointment as Minister of Farming, Agriculture, and Agribusiness. 

Since being first elected to Queen’s Park in 2022, Minister Flack has continuously championed and advocated for Ontario farmers and the agricultural industry.

“We are excited to continue the momentum of our positive and established relationship with Minister Flack, advocating for our farmer-members and the growth of our $27 billion industry,” said Jeff Harrison, chair, Grain Farmers of Ontario. “Minister Flack carries a great passion for the agriculture sector and understands what farming communities and farmers need to thrive and the critical contributions our farmer-members make to food security and provincial economic growth.”
